I was introduced to network marketing a little bit ago and it was something that truly resonated with me so strongly because I knew that I wanted my freedom.
Freedom
More than anything I wanted my freedom.
I had visions at that point, of things that I wanted to pursue and I didn’t want my finances to stand in the way. So when I did get introduced to network marketing I was all over it from the beginning. Yet, from the beginning I really struggled, not because I didn’t know how to market but because I feel I didn’t grow enough internally to really experience the kind of success that I was looking for.
Then slowly over the last year or so, I have been building my own value and really started growing more and becoming more aware of myself. Asking myself, what really drives me… either consciously or subconsciously… Really getting down to my emotional core because I think many of us don’t realize that our emotions really drive us.
The Beginning
So when I started in network marketing I was literally afraid. I was afraid to talk to people and that definitely came off. That definitely came off! It really hindered me from being able to do the things I wanted to do. Even when I came upon Jonathan Budd online, I STILL struggled. Struggled with, oh geez how am I going to do this… how am I going to get myself on video… I am naturally more of a shy person, so the thought of getting on video was terrifying for me. Basically just getting out there and marketing, putting myself out there online… I had to really make that decision within myself that I was going to grow and do everything I could to manifest what I was looking to manifest. So when I first started marketing, first started learning about this industry, I was NOT successful immediately. I had to do a great deal of trial and error. My first videos were horrible, some of the marketing I did looking back and seen how much I have grown.
It is really just learning and growing process. It can take you 3 months or 3 years. Take your time. I tell people to make sure you have access to someone who has walked the walk and can put you past the tremendous learning curve in network marketing. You need to go through a lot of your limiting belief processes…
You know, what are you afraid of? What do you really think about yourself? Can I really do this?
Once you can get passed all that, you will be able to vibrate that to people and really convey a true message of empowerment and inspiration to people; which really what this industry is all about. Really finding that power within you and being able to create true freedom for yourself. The true core of building this solid foundation within yourself really does start with your mindset. This has been the key with all successful people… they know what makes them tick… you really have to get into the mind of the people that you are talking to. You have to understand where they are coming from, what drives them and what they are looking for. AND you can’t do that until you have done that within yourself first.
