How To Change Your IP if Using a Router

Affiliate Marketing

Another form of advertising, other than PPC, is using Craigslist. Now with this beast, you can only do so much  before they will ban you and such. So I just thought I would tracertshare how I change my IP adress so things can run a little more smoothly.

I am running a Motorola Cable modem and a D-Link router (cheap but does the job). All I did was log into the routers admin at http://192.168.1.1 <standard for most. Head to the section where you MAC address is located and change it. I just changed the last two digits, then click the save settings button. Let it renew itself then head to your modem and unplug it for about 30 seconds. Then check to see if your ip has changed using www.ipchicken.com or whatever site you want. Thats it. Let me know if you have any other methods for doing this in the comments sections so other people can benefit also. Creative Commons License photo credit: pixle
