business blogging. What you think about something, and how you strategize

With that in mind, here is the most important thing you can do. Keep your eye on
matter most, and should always be a the center of all your thoughts,
strategies, and actions.

Blogging is just a tool. But it’s a tool that can and should become a major support arm of your business. Why?

Because it exponentially multiplies the world’s oldest, most favored, and trusted form of information sharing — word of mouth.

Just ask yourself, whom do you trust the most to give you advice, recommendations, and
together of like-minded individuals. Blogging simply magnifies and expands that
sense of community and more personalized communication, and then expands the
reach across the entire world!

Link trust; with respect, positioning, and word-of-mouth and you have the makings of a powerful
marketing arm that can initiate an ever-growing stream of highly targeted
prospects.

Remember, it’s the relationships that matter most. Keep your eye on that fact, and you’ll
always have the right mindset for business blogging that’s a benefit for you
and your readers.

It’s been simmering below the surface for years and now this power shift has finally boiled over into simultaneous national recognition.

Like Goliath being slain with a lowly slingshot, the mainstream media (in the form of Dan Rather) came to the undeniable realization that they were no longer in control of information.

Within 30-minutes of that now infamous TV special on “60-Minutes II” broadcast bloggers were digging into the facts and questioning the validity of what had just been presented by the 42-year broadcast veteran. In less than one week, CBS admitted it could “no longer vouch” for the memos. And just weeks after the election, Rather announced his retirement and the blogosphere won another victory.

No matter what your political affiliation is, this incident is one very public example of the power of blogging. Blogging is quickly accelerating into a steeping, sloping growth curve of popularity and application. ABC News selected Bloggers as “People of the Year”, and Merriam-Webster declared “blog” its “word of the year.”

Putting the power of blogs to work for your business can have more an impact than you can imagine… and it’s easier than you might think.

It puts the power of information and the impact of influence in the hands of the “average Joe”. It makes instant publishing a reality regardless of your technical skill level. And it’s a business growth tool that the savvy small business owner can no longer afford to ignore.

The world’s oldest, most effective form of communication and marketing on steroids!

So why is blogging gaining popularity so quickly? What’s the attraction? And why is it so darn powerful?

The answer is quite simple when you consider history and human nature.

Blogging is an unstoppable technological force that exponentially multiplies the world’s oldest, most favorite, and most trusted form of information sharing — word of mouth.

Think about it. Who do you trust the most to give you advice, recommendations, and information about opportunities, purchases, or choices?

If you’re like the vast majority of people, it’s the opinion of someone you know and trust. Someone who you feel is just like you. That type of trust comes from personal communication, social interaction, and the joining together of like-minded individuals.

Blogs and the blogging community deliver all that — and more.

Now is the time to master business blogging and put it to use for you! Do it before other proactive business owners step into your ideal niche and muscle you out of this primetime opportunity.

This is just a quick plug about this new blog I found a month or so ago. I dont even remember how I

found it but I am glad I did. That makes a total of 5 blogs that I gander at daily, TheNetFool being number 5! Jim, the author of the blog, is a finance student over at Penn State who started blogging back in October 07′. It is amazing to see someone just jump on the blogging scene and already have an active fan base. Well, it’s really not hard to see why. The content is in itself very unique, has gerth (quality) and it’s easy to read. Another factor I think the blog is so successful is the fact that he is a young good looking guy! Ok seriously, I think the blog is focused. Thats it. Jim knows what he wants to talk about and then does it well. You can clearly see what his topic/niche is covering via his design and posts right when you arrive. I would say that many bloggers struggle before they finally feel what their blog will focus on… it really all takes time. Jim, himself states that he intended for the blog to be a “resume-filler” until it took a turn to another direction. Now look what he has created! A great, “keep it real” feel type blog about how to make money online. I would like to know how he comes up with his post topics daily… will he reveal that?

As Jim would say, “Stay Bullish on the Net!”

Here is a blog that I stumbled upon just today actually. I like his writing style, as its very honest and brings out his personality. I can’t stand those make money online blogs that talk like we are in a college classroom… like we are idiots basically. To clear up, this is not a MMO type blog. Jason Pereira, the owner of the blog, has stated that this is a young entrepreneurs blog… I do agree with him as to not wanting to associate with the MMO type “nonsense” titles. I am sick of the that whole fake game too.

So go check out his blog, maybe you might a nugget there that can make you some money. His posts do teach lessons and tips for people… which is rare for many blogs…

Ok, so I gave in and paid the thirty bucks to see what the ClickConsultants forum was all about. I decided to give it a try due to that fact that “sup3rnova”, the uberaffiliate, was one of the moderators and I think creators.(not sure though) His blog is what has taught me the most and has motivated to get started in the learning process of AM. So, I got access to the forum and the first thing I noticed was the inactivity. Most sections were from months ago and some were not, some post questions were unanswered and such. So I had a few hours to kill and decided to peruse the different areas of the forum they had to offer. There is a lot of information packed all over the place there and some of it is useful. The thing I like most about forums, is asking a question and getting it answered fairly quickly with different point of views… well, I figured I should not knock the thing before checking out the content it had to offer and the potential. Now, I am a complete newb at this and I consider any money towards affiliate marketing training an investment.<sarcasm> (an excuse of course.)
I will say the “learning center” had a few good tips. They have their own tool box for you to use that has a few keyword tools ( ok at best) and if you want to gain access to a free tool that normally charges a monthly rate, you will have to join to find out which one that is. Seriously, just that one tool makes it worthwhile to stay aboard <sarcasm> despite the minute inactivity. There are also beginner video tutorials on how to set up a campaign and look for offers. That is hugely useful for someone that is a visual learner. Plus, they give you six landing pages for free every month… which is cool but not cuz of the fact that everyone will use it and not change it up. Just make sure you make it your own! Lastly, they have an array of article tutorials from beginner to advanced which basically are posts from the forum itself. If you want to get a quick jump start from knowing nothing to knowing the basics only, give up the gas money and check it out for a month. If you don’t like it then wait out the month and cancel. Simple as that. For me, I am going to cancel to put that money towards my first ppc campaign. Yahoo does offer the $100 credit still so thats where I will start.

For a “sneak peek” <sarcasm, yet again> here is a free Affiliate Guide in pdf form (click the image below to download the guide too) that Derek from ClickConsultants wrote for beginners. This is part one, so far, that he is doing… so if you want to see the rest you gotta sign up. Or just wait a few months for more developments.

for the most part the forum is dead.
